Seamstress Wanted (Arvada)
We are a 50+ year-old drapery workroom in Arvada, looking for an experienced drapery workroom seamstress. We need an individual who:
1. Is skilled in working with a variety of sewing machines including commercial machines, sergers, pleaters, and possibly automated equipment.2. Has more than a basic understanding of sewing quality products especially valances, pillows, and bedding items.
3. Is team oriented and able to work with all personalities, respecting differences, appreciating strengths and helping others where they may be challenged.
4. Is very quality minded and does not take offense to her work being closely scrutinized for quality output.
5. Recognizes deadlines and assists his or her team with completing all orders on time, every time.
6. Is willing to learn and try new things.
7. Works well under pressure and able to respond to set backs with a positive attitude.
About the job:1. We are in Arvada, off 60th Avenue and Sheridan Blvd.
2. Work hours are Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM with 1⁄2 hour lunch break.
3. Pay depends on level of experience, but we are willing to pay top performers at the higher rate.
4. Dependability is essential. If you have a history of missing work for any minor illness or reason, do not apply. We offer:
