About the Role
The Company is in search of a Head of Reinsurance to spearhead the development and expansion of its reinsurance and medical stop-loss offerings within the value-based care market. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the structuring and placement of reinsurance solutions, with a specific focus on risk-bearing healthcare organizations such as ACOs. This role demands a professional with a deep understanding of healthcare reinsurance, medical stop-loss, and capital-motivated risk transfer, as well as a proven track record in originating new business and nurturing relationships within the industry. Experience with ACOs and knowledge of emerging CMS models, particularly LEAD, are critical for this position. Applicants for the Head of Reinsurance role at the company should possess a strong background in healthcare reinsurance and medical stop-loss, including experience with capital-motivated reinsurance solutions. The role requires a candidate with a robust network of relationships across reinsurers, carriers, and underwriting partners, and a demonstrated ability to structure complex insurance and reinsurance transactions.
