Maintenance Technician

About the Role The Maintenance Technician position involves responsibilities such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, and general property maintenance and upkeep. Additionally, the Maintenance Technician will manage maintenance systems to ensure optimal operations and client/tenant satisfaction in accordance with department protocols. This role plays a key part in maintaining the reliability and performance of our buildings, creating safe, functional environments for tenants, clients, and patients. Key responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Complete maintenance and repair work orders using work order software Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment Respond promptly to emergencies and resolve issues safely and efficiently Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and parts Communicate effectively with tenants, vendors, and team members regarding building needs Ensure all work complies with safety standards, policies, and procedures Support the Supervisor/Property Manager in monitoring building operations and vendor performance Perform other duties and special projects as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training in maintenance-related fields preferred Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Minimum of 2 years of related maintenance experience; preferably in healthcare, commercial real estate, or hospital environments Certifications (e.g., HVAC, CFC Handling, Electrical, Plumbing) preferred Must be located in St. Louis, MO area with availability for after-hours emergencies and participation in on-call rotation Must also be willing to come in 5 days a week Ability to lift at least 50 pounds, climb ladders/stairs, and perform extensive walking Basic computer skills and comfort using maintenance or work order software Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without need for employer sponsorship now or in the future Why Choose Lillibridge Competitive pay and performance-based incentives 401(k) with company match 20 days of PTO to start + 11 paid holidays Stable, long-term career growth with a trusted national leader The estimated base hourly range for this position is $28-32/hour. This range reflects a good-faith estimate of the base salary Ventas reasonably expects to pay at the time of posting. Actual base pay will be determined based on work location, skills, qualifications, relevant experience, and business needs. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, dental, vision, retirement savings, paid time off, and other wellness benefits under applicable plan terms.
