Registered Respiratory Therapist

This is a 13-week contract position.

6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, rotating weekends and holidays. Occasional night shifts may be required to cover time off.

The Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide care to patients with respiratory disorders, ensuring their comfort and safety while performing essential respiratory therapies. The ideal candidate should be flexible with shifts and locations, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Administering respiratory therapy procedures as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitoring patient responses to treatments and adjusting therapies as necessary.
• Collaborating with healthcare team members to optimize patient care.
• Educating patients and families about respiratory health and self-management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 24 months of recent RRT experience within the last 12 months.
• Life support certifications from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
• No hits on state license to practice.
• Active license to practice verified in the last 30 days.
• Active NBRC certification from an approved vendor.
• Active BLS certification from an approved vendor.
• Valid driver's license for residency verification.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
