We are seeking compassionate and friendly individuals to join our team as Caregivers in cities surrounding Richfield, such as Edina, Minneapolis, Bloomington, Hopkins, and St. Louis Park. As a Caregiver , you will play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to individuals in need.

Are you looking for short shifts when your kids are in school? We're seeking caregivers who available to work 4 hour-shifts between 9am and 3pm.

Comfort Keepers is a well-known, top brand home health agency servicing the Metro Area that provides consistency, a great atmosphere with flexibility for our caregivers! Here at Comfort Keepers self-care is important!

Essential Duties:

• Assist male and female clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs as directed by healthcare professionals
• Assist with mobility and transfers
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and tidying up living spaces
• Drive clients to appointments or social outings
• Implement behavior management techniques as needed
• Utilize your smart phone to send texts and emails and to download and use apps to view care plans and record tasks and to send texts and emails

* $19.00 - $21.00/ hour on Monday thru Thursday

* $21.00 - $23.00/hour on Friday thru Sunday

Qualifications:

• At least 18 years old
• Experience as a caregiver for adults or nursing assistance training (or equivalent) - Valid Driver's License and active Auto Insurance
• Able to pass a background check
• Willing to drive personal vehicle for client transportation
• Willing to do personal cares for males and females
• Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds
• Ability to read, comprehend and clearly speak English
• Possess and use a smartphone, which includes sending texts and emails, downloading and using Apps, and completing online training
• Able to function in a home setting with minimal direct supervision
• High moral standards of honesty and integrity
• Ability to pass background checks, motor vehicle record check, reference checks, and TB screening
• Engage clients in activities of interest
• Follow care plans and accurately document tasks
• Willing to drive up to 25 miles to a shift

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in in-home care, long-term care, assisted living, dementia care, or nursing homes
• Skilled in personal cares such as bathing/showering/sponge baths, gait belt/transfers, toileting assistance, dressing/grooming
• Medication administration experience
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and familiarity with client rights and home care practices
