Breakfast Attendant - Part Time

The Howard Johnson Portsmouth is looking for a part-time breakfast attendant! Grat schedule! Great team! Great opportunity! Job Overview The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for set up, clearing and cleanliness of the breakfast area in safe and efficient compliance with policies and procedures, brand standards, and federal, state, and local regulations. As a breakfast Attendant you play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to patrons. What you'll be doing Set up breakfast area before service, arranging tables and chairs, and ensuring proper table settings. Greet guests, and may serve food and beverages following policies, procedures, brand standards, alcohol awareness and federal, state and local serving regulations. Complete assigned side work and related cleaning duties in the hospitality area. Maintain a clean and organized breakfast area by clearing tables and resetting them for new guests. Assist with all aspects of service as requested. Skills and Abilities Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Working Conditions & Physical Effort Physical work is a primary part of many of our hotel and resort jobs. Physical requirements include extended standing and walking, climbing, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and lifting to 50 lbs. Some work is performed in an interior hotel environment with equipment and machines.
