Lead Security Engineer

Job Title:Lead Security Engineer ROLE PURPOSE Lead the security engineering function. Own the security posture of the platform and its products, and lead the security engineer and threat intelligence specialist. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Own application and platform security across the Integrated Trust Platform and its products. Lead secure development practices, threat modeling, and security reviews across engineering. Direct independent security testing, including penetration testing, and drive remediation. Build and lead the security team, including a security engineer and a threat intelligence specialist. Partner on certification efforts (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST) and support customer security reviews. Uphold the architectural separation of the platform's security guarantees in engineering decisions. MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS 8 or more years in security engineering, with time in a lead or senior role. Deep knowledge of application security, secure architecture, and threat modeling. Experience build software in Rust or working with Rust-based systems. Experience running or directing penetration testing and remediation. Working knowledge of cryptography and key management. Experience partnering on security certifications and customer security assessments. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Background in cryptographic or post-quantum products. Familiarity with identity, VPN, or secure transport security. Relevant certifications such as CISSP or OSCP.
