Server, Wisconsin Room Work Mode: Onsite Location: Kohler, WI Opportunity Join our top-rated food and beverage teams and transform your passion for great food into exceptional guest service—growing your skills in effective selling techniques, proper food and liquor handling methods, and restaurant operations. Specific Responsibilities Inform guests about the special items for the day and menu changes if any. Suggest food and beverages to the guest utilizing appropriate methods to upsell. Take food and beverage orders from the guest and accurately enter into Point of sale (POS) system. Greets guests and presents them with the menu when applicable. Process payment transactions. Clear and reset table settings and linens, as needed. Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor. Communicate to the guest and provide assistance with questions. Coordinate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction. Observe guests and ensure their satisfaction with the food and service. Promptly respond to guest with any additional request. Maintaining proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses. Prepare mixed drinks for service to your customers table when applicable (must be 18 or over and licensed). Understand and can communicate products and services available at the resort. Assist with stocking and maintaining the restaurant par stock levels and side station. Help other areas of the restaurant such as answering telephones and seating guests. This is a casual part-time position working weekdays and weekends with shifts ranging from 4:00 pm - 12:00 am. Skills / Requirements 2+ years of previous Serving or Bartending experience, preferred. We are looking for an applicant who is at least 18 years of age and has the ability to obtain their Learn 2 Serve Certificate upon hire. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future. The hourly range for this position is $2.33 plus tips/gratuity. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
