We are looking for a compassionate, knowledgeable professional who is committed to providing exceptional nutritional care and education to our patients.ResponsibilitiesUnderstand and perform diet office procedures.Assess patients' nutritional needs and develop appropriate nutrition care plans.Provide individualized nutrition counseling and education to patients and their families.Accurately document nutrition assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.Apply dietetic principles and evidence-based practices to support patient care.Recommend and implement appropriate modified diets and dietary restrictions based on patients' medical conditions.Address the nutritional needs of patients with a wide variety of acute and chronic health conditions.QualificationsEducationBachelor 's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.Licensure/CertificationRegistered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential required.Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist (CDN) in New York State preferred.About Rome HealthRome Health is a nonprofit health care system based in Rome, New York, serving patients throughout Central New York.
