Mid-American Specialized Transport (MAST) is seeking a Dedicated Overnight Manager to join their team in Shelbyville, IN . If you have at least 1 year of management experience, MAST wants to hear from you! This is a great opportunity for restaurant managers, hotel managers, or casino managers! Transportation industry experience is a plus but not required. Competitive compensation , based upon your experience and background. Essential duties/responsibilities: Effective management of driver and customer needs to ensure a successful overnight operation. Think strategically around customer problems to deliver our value proposition(s). Address any questions/issues that occur during time of pickup through delivery. Work with customers to accurately set all pickup and delivery appointments. Work with carrier partner team and customer to ensure all freight is serviced on time. Achieve daily goals assigned by management and oversee that daily goals are being met. Develop understanding all customer information and needs to accurately provide the best service. Understand all functionality within our company’s system to accurately perform all dispatch operations. Maintain accurate system information. Accurately providing proof of delivery or bill of lading on each assigned order upon request. Required to be on call as requested by management. Ensure all office property (including laptop and cell phone) are taken care of. Flexibility to change to provide the best office structure to meet business needs.
