Medical Assistant

Busy Dermatologist office seeks a team player for a full-time clinical position. The medical/clinical assistant works as part of the health care team by assisting the practice provider in providing high quality patient care in a professional manner. The ideal candidate will be energetic and able to remain focused in a busy atmosphere while delivering a high level of customer service. Job Description Assist provider with exams and procedures, administering medications, and performing tests. Assist patients with aftercare instructions Triage and process messages from patients, front office staff, and providers. Clean and restock exam rooms Cleaning and Sterilize instruments Collecting lab samples (blood, urine, ect) Updating patient medical histories Qualifications Ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow The ability to perform phlebotomy Job Type: Full-time: Mon-Thurs: 7:45am-5:30/6:00pm, Fridays: 7:45am-1:00pm Experience: 1 years work experience as a nursing assistant or medical assistant (preferred but required) Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA, and OSHA regulations Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
