The Croton-Harmon UFSD is looking for a JV Boys Soccer Head Coach for the Fall 2026 season. We are looking for a dedicated, knowledgeable and positive role model to support our student-athletes and program goals. Qualifications & responsibilities include: possessing substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport, having the ability to organize and supervise a total sports program, having previous successful coaching experience in assigned sport, necessary coaching certifications, including First Aid, CPR, AED, and concussion, acceptable character development, self-discipline, and pride of accomplishment in the student athletes, serving as an appropriate role model and mentor through his/her instructions and actions. Reports to: The Athletic Director, who provides overall objectives and final evaluation. Stipend: $4,878 the Fall 2026 Athletic Season as outlined by Section 1. Job goals include: to instruct athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy and physical training, to upgrade his/her knowledge and skills through coaching clinics, observations, consultation, etc., having a thorough knowledge of all the athletic policies approved by the Croton-Harmon Community, maintaining discipline, adjusting grievances and working to increase morale and cooperation, performing such other duties which may be assigned by the athletic director/principal, assisting in the preparations to hold scheduled sport events/practices, and adhering to scheduled facility times, providing documentation to fulfill state and system requirements concerning physical examinations, parental consent and eligibility, providing proper safeguards for maintenance and protection of assigned equipment sites, advising the athletic director and recommending policy, method or procedural changes, providing assistance, guidance and safeguards for each participant at all practices, games and while traveling, providing training rules and any other unique regulations of the sport to each athlete, initiating programs and policies concerning injuries, medical attention and emergencies, assisting athletes in their college or advanced educational selection, recommending equipment guidelines as to type, style, color or technical specifications, securing all doors, lights, windows, locks, and sets alarm before leaving the building if custodians are not on duty, instilling in each player a respect for equipment and school property, its care and proper use, promoting the sport within the school through recruiting athletes who are not in other sports, promoting the sport and team outside the school through social media, news media, etc. Croton-Harmon School District embraces diversity in our workplace and in our schools.
