Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of acute care experience License: RN License Required Certifications: BLS and ACLS Required Must-Have: Excellent physical assessment and documentation skills Experience caring for acute care stroke patients Strong time management skills Well-developed critical thinking skills Established A.I.D.E.T behaviors Knowledge of core measures and prevention of HACs, HAIs Chemo experience is a plus Description: The role involves providing high-quality, efficient, and compassionate health care services. The facility focuses on the development of an integrated, cost-efficient, quality-driven health care delivery system. The organization aims to meet the continually changing needs of patients and the advancing technology of modern health care. The unit staff includes a core group of experienced professionals available for support on all shifts. Documentation is performed using an electronic system. The unit follows a patient ratio of 6:1. Floating to other Med-Surg and Tele units may occur. Block scheduling is available to enhance work-life balance. Communication is facilitated through mobile devices and there are computers/scanners in every room.
