The Concrete Superintendent will oversee medium-sized teams on infrastructure projects, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion from planning through to inspection. This role requires strong leadership and coordination skills to manage concrete pouring and site activities using project management tools like Procore. Reporting to the Project Manager and Construction Manager, the superintendent supports effective communication and compliance throughout the project lifecycle, with occasional travel as needed.

 

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule concrete operations for infrastructure projects
• Supervise and lead a team of 10-30 workers on site
• Ensure quality control of concrete work and proper execution
• Maintain strict compliance with safety regulations and protocols
• Coordinate site activities and manage concrete pouring processes
• Conduct regular inspections to monitor progress and quality
• Manage project schedules to meet deadlines
• Utilize Procore software for project documentation and tracking

 

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction supervision
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• EM385-1-1 certification
• Knowledge of Construction Management and Concrete Technology
• Proficient in Blueprint Reading
• Strong team leadership and problem-solving skills
• Effective time management abilities
