Duties

• Operate industrial laundry machines to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and guest clothing with precision and care.
• Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results.
• Handle delicate items with special care, including dry cleaning processes when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas by organizing supplies and ensuring equipment is sanitized regularly.
• Assist with inventory management by tracking linen supplies and notifying management when stock levels are low.
• Follow safety protocols during all laundry procedures to prevent accidents or damage.

Requirements

• Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
• Strong understanding of laundry techniques, including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning processes.
• Ability to operate industrial laundry equipment safely and effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure linens are spotless and well-maintained.
• Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads as needed.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning standards and safety procedures in a hospitality environment.
