• Shift: Inpatient onsite days 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM; Night pager call 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM (some nights, not every night)
• Hours/Week: Variable (includes over-time after 10 hours/day)
• Employment Type: Locum Tenens
• Licensure/Certifications: Active medical license in Washington; Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine and Cardiology
• Experience: Prior inpatient cardiology experience preferred

What You’ll Do

• Provide inpatient cardiology consultation and management
• Diagnose and treat acute cardiac conditions, including heart failure, arrhythmias, and ischemic events
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely
• Participate in night pager call duties, ensuring 24/7 response capability
• Prioritize patient safety and quality of care during all shifts
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and policies

What You Need

• Active medical license in Washington
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine and Cardiology
• Minimum of 2+ years inpatient cardiology experience
• Ability to work inpatient shifts and night call reliably
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to cover multiple weeks for continuity of care
