• Lead and optimize the end-to-end flow of materials across receiving, warehousing, inventory, and shipping operations
• Manage and develop the materials team through training, performance evaluation, and cross-functional collaboration
• Drive effective communication and system integration with customers, suppliers, and internal operations teams
• Investigate material shortages and delivery delays, implementing both immediate fixes and long-term corrective actions
• Oversee supplier delivery performance, establishing targets and driving continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and lean material flow practices while meeting inventory turn targets
• Support new program launches, engineering changes, and demand fluctuations while minimizing obsolescence and supply disruptions

This is what you bring to us:

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Materials Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 57+ years of materials management experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibility
• Strong knowledge of MRP systems (SAP, QAD), EDI processes, and inventory control best practices
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with AIAG/APICS standards, TS 16949 procedures, and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma)
