Job TitleSaint Luke's East seeking a part time Patient Transporter to join our team.Job DescriptionThrough manual or computerized job assignments, the Service Associate functions as a Patient Transporter who will move patients by wheelchair or car throughout the hospital for various reasons.Shift Details32 Hours a week1045-0715; Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun, Tues, Wed, ThursdayThis is a set schedule and you must be able to work this shift permanentlyHoliday rotationThe WorkUtilizes infection prevention techniques patient transfer techniques and knowledge of appropriate routes to assure patients are safely and efficiently movedGood communication with the nursing clinical staff is requiredRecognizes when they need to ask for help or continued guidanceMaintains and protects the integrity of patient's tubes lines and collection devicesWill also move patient valuables and equipmentJob RequirementsApplicable Experience: Less than 1 yearPart Time Night (United States of America)
