Operations Supervisor - 1st Shift

This role is an on-site Operations Supervisor who will manage their team’s workflow, support staff, monitor results, and report to senior management while promoting safety and efficiency through process improvement. Position Operations Supervisor – on-site role. Schedule: 1st Shift with the possibility of additional hours as needed based on business demands. Monday – Thursday (Friday – as needed) 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Location: On-site. Compensation & Benefits Attractive annual salary of $70,000 - $75,000 plus bonus, with benefits including PTO, sick time, corporate holidays, medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and more. Compensation is based on experience, skills, and education. Key Responsibilities Promote a safe environment for the customer’s product, associates, and temporary workers. Follow established operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling, disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current. Provide 100% customer satisfaction. Build a positive teamwork environment by listening and communicating with all associates. Help maintain attendance and tardiness records. Monitor daily compliance with safety procedures. Investigate accidents and prepare reports. Provide on-the-job coaching and training to ensure associate skills are maintained at desired levels. Help coordinate vacations, payroll, and time sheets for associates and temporary workers; address complaints and associate concerns regarding productivity and quality of work. Maintain proper Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for food-grade warehouse operations. Requirements Minimum Requirements High school diploma or GED with some college-level study required. 2+ years of experience in a supervisory warehousing role. Strong oral and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree strongly preferred. Microsoft Office Suites experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Lean six sigma experience a plus. Inventory experience a plus. Third Party Logistics (3PL) experience a plus.
