About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Government Affairs and Public Policy to lead the development and execution of federal and multistate strategies that align with the organization's mission and strategic priorities. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and influencing legislation and policy related to healthcare innovation, patient access, and various government programs. This executive will also oversee external lobbying relationships, ensure compliance, and manage the political action committee. The role demands a leader with a strong commitment to patients, impeccable integrity, and a proven track record in government affairs within the healthcare sector. Applicants for the Vice President, Government Affairs and Public Policy position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in a related field, with a Bachelor's degree required and an advanced degree strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of U.S. healthcare policy, including Medicare, Medicaid, and reimbursement, and a demonstrated ability to influence policy at both the federal and state levels. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills are essential, as is the ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
