Onsite Mental Health Clinician — Construction Site Support

Overview OccuMedX Group, Inc., a national provider of employee health solutions, is seeking a Mental Health Clinician to join our construction occupational health solutions team as an Onsite Mental Health Clinician. The role involves operating an onsite mental health clinic, limited short‑term counseling, mental health assessments, providing crisis intervention, and referral services. The Onsite Mental Health Clinician integrates into the construction project’s safety team to enhance worker health and safety. Duties Provide one‑on‑one, confidential counseling sessions for employees as needed on the construction site. Respond to immediate mental health or emotional crises, offering short‑term stabilization and support. Assess needs and refer employees to appropriate community resources or long‑term providers when necessary. Maintain clear boundaries of scope of practice, offering supportive counseling rather than ongoing therapy. Provide education and awareness about mental health and wellness in a workplace context. Document sessions and referrals in accordance with professional and ethical standards. Maintain confidentiality and comply with all applicable ethical guidelines. Provide ongoing education and training to workers on mental health. Maintain cleanliness of the onsite clinic and office. Other Duties Build lasting relationships with our internal and external partners. Integrate with the client project team to support client objectives and programs. Other duties as assigned. Conditions of Employment Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field (Required). Bilingual in Spanish (Preferred). Minimum of 3 years of experience providing one‑on‑one counseling to individuals. Strong crisis management and de‑escalation skills. Ability to build rapport and trust with diverse groups of employees. Familiarity with referral networks and local mental health resources. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Comfortable working in a construction site environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees and clients at all levels required. Strong organization skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment required. Must be able to adapt to changes without compromise and become proficient quickly. Must be able to operate effectively in unpredictable situations.
