Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (30-minute meal break), with one weekend day per month

Hours per Week: 40

Bill Rate: $40 - $52/hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical therapy needs through comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans
• Implement therapeutic exercises and interventions to improve mobility, strength, and functional independence
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated patient care
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and fall prevention strategies
• Document patient progress accurately and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes
• Supervise physical therapist assistants and support staff while fostering a positive rehabilitation environment

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Pennsylvania or eligibility to obtain one
• Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or rehabilitation setting is preferred
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong clinical reasoning and patient assessment skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of physical therapy principles, modalities, and evidence-based practices
• Familiarity with geriatric rehabilitation and functional mobility training
• Ability to develop and modify treatment plans based on patient response
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
• Patient education and caregiver training skills
• Strong time management and organizational skills
