Job Description
CNA - Long-Term Care

Schedule:
- Full-time evenings
- All contracts must run through the holiday season & begin full shift orientation on a Tuesday or Thursday

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 27 weeks

Requirements:
- NYS Nursing Assistant Certification
- BLS Certification (through AHA or RQI only)
- One (1) year of previous long-term care experience
- High School Diploma or GED

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) in accordance with the plan of care and established policies.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for residents, responding promptly to call lights and alarms.
- Support residents' nutritional needs by assisting with meal delivery and feeding as necessary.
- Participate in rehabilitative activities ensuring proper techniques for mobility and transfers.
- Report changes in residents' physical, emotional, or psychosocial status to the charge nurse.
- Follow safety protocols to minimize occupational exposure to blood-borne pathogens.

Compliance / Notes:
- Orientation begins on a Tuesday or Thursday.
