What You'll Do As a Room Attendant, you will play a key role in maintaining our high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction by:
- Cleaning and sanitizing guest rooms thoroughly (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, changing linens, restocking amenities)
- Preparing rooms for arriving guests according to brand standards
- Refreshing stayover rooms to ensure continued comfort
- Inspecting rooms for maintenance concerns and reporting issues promptly
- Responding to guest requests quickly and courteously
- Assisting with deep cleaning projects as assigned
- Maintaining proper inventory of housekeeping supplies
- Signing in/out radios for interdepartmental communication
- Signing in/out master keys in accordance with key control procedures
- Following all LEGOLAND New York Resort policies, OSHA standards, safety procedures, and sanitation guidelines
- Maintaining professional standards of conduct, hygiene, uniform, and appearance
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Detail-oriented and task-driven
- Reliable, flexible, and team-focused
- Organized with strong time management skills
- Positive, professional, and guest-focused
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items
- Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods
- Must 18 or older
- Full availability required, including weekends and holidays
- Shifts typically run 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (Sunday-Saturday)
- Hours/Days may vary based on hotel occupancy and business needs
