Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of an accredited plumbing apprenticeship or vocational training program. Valid plumbing license or certification as required by the state of employment. Proven experience working as a plumbing technician or in a similar role. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and plumbing codes. Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications such as backflow prevention, gas fitting, or medical gas piping. Experience with advanced plumbing technologies including water treatment systems and energy-efficient fixtures. Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or plumbing-specific software. Strong customer service skills and experience working directly with clients. Ability to operate heavy machinery or specialized plumbing equipment. Responsibilities: Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Diagnose plumbing issues using specialized tools and equipment, and develop effective solutions to resolve problems efficiently. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and plumbing codes to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify potential issues before they become major problems. Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to provide clear communication regarding project status, timelines, and costs. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job. Adhere to all safety protocols and industry best practices to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
