JOB FUNCTION: Maintain all operational equipment and facility infrastructure.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Facilitate process set-up and start-up as needed.
2. Collaborate with other functional departments in the scheduling of down time and PM repairs
3. Electrical Repairs and Maintenance: sanitary sewer system, light bulbs, circuit breakers, fuses, boiler, & etc.
4. Carpentry & general construction: woodwork, sanding, painting, etc.
5. Facility Repairs: doors, radiators, doorknobs, locks, broken tiles, staining, etc.
6. General cleaning in mechanical spaces and perimeter inductions units.
7. Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work
8. Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, etc.)
9. Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform all the duties described in the proceeding in a safe, efficient, and competent manner. 1. Ability to follow technical and procedural documentation
2. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow step-by-step instructions with accuracy
3. Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
4. Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime if needed
5. Excellent communication ability.
6. Perform duties efficiently, thoroughly, and responsibly, completing tasks on a timely basis
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
8. Self-motivated, organized, and able to effectively prioritize responsibilities

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

1. Must have 2 years' experience as a maintenance technician (4 Years Preferred)

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

(Preferred)

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

1. Basic mathematical ability (count, add, subtract, multiply, divide, & measure).

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

1. Ability to hear, speak and understand the English language to respond promptly to verbal requests from employees for information or assistance, to answer telephones, and to be able to communicate effectively with company employees,
2. Ability to read, write, give/receive complex verbal instructions/descriptions of IT policies and procedures.
3. Ability to read, write, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language with sufficient proficiency to read and understand
   1. Company handbooks, policies, and procedures and
   2. Other written job-related documents including postings on company bulletin boards.
4. Ability to fill out forms and write reports

REASONING ABILITY:

1. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in circumstances where only limited standardization may exist.

1. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in diagram, oral, schedule, or written forms.

OTHER SKILLS OR REQUIREMENTS:

1. Be fully knowledgeable in and thoroughly familiar with the company's procedures and policies with particular emphasis on OSHA and HAZCOM requirements.
2. Be able to perform all duties and responsibilities in an efficient and satisfactory manner that meets the minimum standards for productivity, accuracy, cleanliness, harmony, and safety
3. Must be able to work with sensitive information and maintain strict confidentiality.
4. Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving history.
5. Proficient with maintenance skills.
6. Available to workdays and weekends as scheduled (extended hours on occasion)
7. Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene & appearance
8. Good interpersonal communications.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The physical demands described below are representative of those that are required by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

1. To be able to sit or stand for up to 10 hours per day.
2. To be able to use hands to perform physical task
3. Work on tile or concrete flooring.
4. Move a maximum of 50 pounds up to 5 feet
5. Lift a maximum of 50 pounds from 6 inches to 60 inches
6. Lift a maximum of 100 pounds from 6 inches to waist
7. Communicate with vendors/co-workers.
8. Use the phone system.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment conditions described below are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

1. There are some unusual environmental conditions such as cold & hot temperatures, rain, sleet, snow & etc.
