Registered Nurse Med/Surg Night Shift

Location: Springfield, TN

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 3 days a week with every other weekend required.

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg team for the night shift. The unit specializes in providing care for post-operative orthopedic patients, ensuring high standards of patient experience and safety.

Responsibilities:

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Perform patient assessments and develop care plans.
Monitor and document patient vital signs and conditions.
Assist with blood transfusions and IV maintenance.
Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members for optimum patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Current RN license.
Basic Med/Surg experience, especially with post-op patients.
BLS certification required; ACLS preferred but not mandatory.
