Registered Nurse Med/Surg Night Shift
Location: Springfield, TN
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 3 days a week with every other weekend required.
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg team for the night shift. The unit specializes in providing care for post-operative orthopedic patients, ensuring high standards of patient experience and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Perform patient assessments and develop care plans.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and conditions.
- Assist with blood transfusions and IV maintenance.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members for optimum patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Current RN license.
- Basic Med/Surg experience, especially with post-op patients.
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred but not mandatory.
