Job Summary:

Seeking a Radiation Therapist to provide specialized patient care in a high-volume, Level I Trauma Center. The role involves delivering radiation therapy treatments with adherence to safety and clinical protocols.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer precise radiation treatments to patients based on prescribed plans.
  
  
• 
  Operate and monitor radiation equipment ensuring safety and accuracy.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to develop and update treatment plans.
  
  
• 
  Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all procedures and patient interactions.
  
  
• 
  Comply with radiation safety regulations, including badge monitoring and reporting.
  
  
• 
  Provide compassionate patient care, addressing concerns and ensuring comfort throughout procedures.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid South Carolina Radiation Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one.
  
  
• 
  ARRT (T) certification in Radiation Therapy and current BLS certification.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 1 year of radiation therapy experience.
  
  
• 
  Strong knowledge of treatment protocols, safety procedures, and equipment operation.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work independently while maintaining team communication.
  
  
• 
  Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills suitable for a fast-paced environment.
