Jack in the Box Restaurant Manager: Store 175 Moreno Valley, CA 92553 – $25.00 – $33.00 / hour – full time Job Description Description Responsible for managing the overall operations of a Jack in the Box unit. Uses discretion in daily management decisions with accountability for ensuring effective execution of the Service Profit Chain (SPC) and Brand Promise. Develops a team to provide excellent internal service, external service, and build restaurant sales and profit while ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Key Duties / Responsibilities Internal Service : Recruits, selects, trains, develops, and evaluates restaurant employees. Monitors staffing levels to ensure sufficient development and talent; implements training systems; identifies and develops internal candidates for management and Team Leader positions. Works with management team to ensure execution of "My Promise to You" and the Service Profit Chain, fostering an employee-friendly, fun, clean and safe environment. Motivates and rewards employees while complying with labor laws. External Service : Manages daily activities to achieve excellence in restaurant operational performance. Provides an exceptional experience for guests by training and holding the team accountable for consistent service and food quality. Reviews and modifies practices to continuously improve the guest experience, resolves guest concerns in a timely manner, and maintains brand image of cleanliness and service. Sales & Profits : Utilizes management information tools to analyze operational and financial performance. Identifies trends, implements action plans, and consults with regional resources. Focuses on increasing sales and profitability by executing the Service Profit Chain, while monitoring costs and adherence to budget. Additional Duties : Performs other related duties as required, assigned, and directed. Qualifications Education : High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience : Internal Promote – Minimum 1 year as an Associate Manager or 2 years as a First Assistant Manager; must be 100% certified in all workstations. External Recruit – Minimum 3 years managing a service concept with full P&L responsibility. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities : Minimum 18 years old; completed Restaurant Manager training; ServSafe certified; proficient in English; strong interpersonal, basic math, analytical, organization, and planning skills; self‑starter; computer literacy; valid driver’s license, insurance, and personal vehicle for deposits and travel. Physical Requirements : Stand and walk 85–95% of shift; lift 10–65 lbs; move freely in restaurant; operate equipment and drive a vehicle; use computer keyboard.
