Job Summary

Join the dedicated team at Tuba City Regional Health Care Corporation, a Joint Commission accredited health center located in the culturally rich community of Tuba City, Arizona. This facility serves as a vital referral center for the western parts of the Navajo and Hopi Reservations, providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services to a diverse patient population across a 4,400 square mile area.

This role is primarily based in a 5-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU), providing critical nursing care to patients of all ages. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for a variety of complex nursing procedures, working independently to manage critically ill patients and support their families. The position also involves periodic floating to the Emergency Department (ED), Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg), or Pediatric (Peds) units based on census needs, and after-hours recovery for post-operative general surgery, pediatric, and OB patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients within the Intensive Care Unit.
• Perform a wide range of professional nursing care procedures, applying specialized knowledge to patient conditions and treatments.
• Work autonomously in completing assignments, adhering strictly to physician orders, established standards of care, and hospital policies and procedures.
• Deliver inpatient care and support to individuals of all ages and their families.
• Assist with after-hours recovery for post-operative general surgery, pediatric, and obstetrics patients as required.
• Float to other units such as the Emergency Department, Medical/Surgical, or Pediatrics in instances of low ICU census.

Required Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Minimum of 3 years of recent, direct Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience.
