, a play-based approach that promotes children's social-emotional development, independence, creativity, and early learning skills. The Preschool Teacher Assistant will work closely with the lead teacher to support daily classroom activities, implement the curriculum, foster a positive and nurturing learning environment, and encourage the growth and development of every child. Work Hours:

Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Responsibilities: Support lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and daily activities for preschool-aged children Supervise and engage children during classroom activities, outdoor play, and meal times Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment Assist with classroom setup, cleanup, and organization of learning materials Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding daily progress and child development Help manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques Assist children with basic needs including hygiene, feeding, and rest routines Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; coursework in Early Childhood Education (ECE) preferred Prior experience working with preschool or toddler-aged children is a plus Patient, caring, and nurturing demeanor with a genuine love for children Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced childcare environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Must be able to pass a background check and fingerprinting and meet NJ childcare licensing requirements CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain About Us: Kidzland Child Care Center has been a trusted name in early childhood education in the Parlin, NJ community, providing a safe, fun, and enriching environment where children can learn and grow.
