LVN / LPN - Ambulatory Care/Clinic/Outpatient

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Perform clinical tasks including rooming patients, administering injections, taking vital signs, and conducting EKGs.
  
  
• 
  Collect specimens such as nasopharyngeal swabs and blood samples, adhering to safety protocols.
  
  
• 
  Assist with patient education and communicate effectively with diverse patient populations.
  
  
• 
  Document clinical activities accurately within electronic health records, ensuring compliance with protocols.
  
  
• 
  Work independently and collaboratively across multiple outpatient and family medicine locations as needed.
  
  
• 
  Maintain competency in required skills, including POCT, ear flushes, and injection administration, while adhering to policy standards.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid NY license and meet travel compliance requirements.
  
  
• 
  Possess at least 1 year of relevant nursing experience in ambulatory or outpatient settings.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate strong communication skills and flexibility to float across multiple locations.
  
  
• 
  Be capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  
  
• 
  Have EPIC charting experience, with proficiency in clinical documentation.
  
  
• 
  Be dependable, punctual, and adaptable to changing clinical needs.
