Experienced In-home Caregiver

SRX Home Care, LLC, known as Happier At Home, is seeking experienced in-home caregivers to join our dedicated team serving Northeast Iowa and the surrounding areas. As an Experienced In-home Caregiver, you will provide exceptional support and personalized care to seniors, helping them maintain their independence and comfort in their own homes. Your responsibilities will include assisting with personal care tasks, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transportation, medication reminders, and providing compassionate companionship to enhance their overall quality of life. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and daily living activities.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with grocery shopping as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties to ensure a safe and clean living environment.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in mental and social activities.
• Offer transportation assistance for appointments, errands, and social engagements.
• Provide medication reminders and support health routines.
• Report any changes in the client’s health or condition to supervisory staff promptly.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Minimum of 10 years experience in caregiving or nursing certification.
• Strong compassion, patience, and empathy when working with elderly clients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow detailed care plans and safety protocols diligently.
• Must pass background check and saliva drug test.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license are required.
