They will also set tables with linens prior to functions according to the BEO (Banquet Event Order) specs. The Banquet Server will interact closely with all event attendees and provide friendly and efficient service to ensure client satisfaction.What you will be doing:Keep work areas clean and organized.Know food preparation and service.Report all unsafe conditions immediately.Set up banquet rooms for functions (chairs, tables, linens, etc.).Solve unusual customer requests creatively.Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor to include cross trainingWhat are we looking for?What you bring to the role:High School Diploma required.Previous experience as a Banquet Server preferred,Good communication skills; Able to speak and understand EnglishCustomer centric approach in dealing with the public and co-workers.Physically able to lift and carry trays & remove soiled items from tables.OKANA Resort is part of Pyramid Global Hospitality, a leading hospitality company that offers career opportunities and has a steadfast commitment to putting people first.Pyramid Global Hospitality is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Note: This document describes the general nature and level of work required of people in the job.
