We’re bridging two worlds, moving towards more sustainable energy sources, while helping to provide the energy, chemicals and resources needed now.Position SummaryResponsible for selecting equipment, figuring layout assembly welding, and instillation.Primary ResponsibilitiesLay out position, align, and fit components together for installationSet up equipment and weld parts, using arc, submerged arc, or gas welding equipmentHoist equipment and tools into location via riggings or craneVerify vertical and horizontal alignment of structural-steel members, using plumb bobs, laser equipment, transits, and/or levelsConnect columns, beams, and girders with bolts, following blueprints and instructions from supervisorsCut, bend, and weld iron/steel pieces, using metal shears, torches, and welding equipmentAdditional responsibilities not listed may be requiredQualificationsMinimum 4 years industrial construction/maintenance industry experienceKnowledge of safety rules and regulationsKnowledge and understanding of MSDS sheets with management/supervisionPhysical RequirementsClimbing, Balancing, Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Crawling, Reaching, Standing, Walking, Pushing, Pulling, Lifting, Grasping, Feeling, Repetitive MotionsMoving forward togetherWe’re committed to building a diverse, inclusive and respectful workplace where everyone feels they belong, can bring themselves, and are heard.
