Buyer II

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and medical device industry, is seeking a Buyer II to join their team. As a Buyer II, you will be part of the procurement department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, proactive problem-solving skills, and strong collaboration abilities, which will align successfully in the organization. Title : Buyer II Location : Plymouth, MN Duration : 12 Month Assignment Pay Range : $33/hr. - $37/hr. Onsite 4 days in Plymouth – 1 day remote Shift : 8AM - 4PM What\'s the Job? Manage purchasing and procurement of direct materials, including raw materials, electronics, plastic tubing, and labels. Review pricing, lead times, and issue purchase orders using ERP systems such as SAP. Update and maintain master data in ERP, including lead times and quantities. Collaborate with suppliers to address invoice issues and maintain inventory levels. Participate in weekly status reviews and support cross-functional communication to ensure procurement goals are met. What\'s Needed? 2-3+ years of direct materials purchasing experience, with familiarity in managing purchase orders and supplier relationships. ERP experience, specifically with SAP, is required. High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred, or extensive professional experience in procurement. Proficiency in MS Office applications.
