Position Summary

This position will provide support to all material handling, inventory, and shipping and receiving needs.

Supervisory Responsibility: No

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

1. Maintains a thorough knowledge of the organization and adheres to all organizational standards.
2. Moving material throughout the plant
3. Conduct inventory research and analysis
4. Interface with all departments and levels of management
5. Driving company owned vehicles to pick up and deliver productive and/or maintenance material, while following procedures for documenting expenditures and delivering materials to the proper departments
6. Operating overhead crane and unloading steel trucks

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

• Previous stand-up forklift, hand truck or stacker experience, required.
• Previous material handling and shipping & receiving experience, preferred.
• Ability to complete forklift training and certification.

Computer Skills:

• To perform this job successfully the following computer proficiencies are desired: Internet Explorer; Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
