Operating Room RN – Trauma & Neuro | Profile Review + Manager Interview

Position Highlights

• Hiring Process: MedSol Clinical Profile Review → Unit Manager Interview
• 60-mile radius rule (Driver's License required with submission)
• Must be in-state during orientation week , even if first-day modules are remote

Required Qualifications

• Trauma experience REQUIRED
• Neuro experience REQUIRED
• BLS
• Previous OR circulating experience
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Scrubbing is NOT required for RNs

Operating Room Details

• 16 OR suites
• Approximately 30 surgical cases per day

Schedule

Available shifts include:

• 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• 9:00 AM – 9:30 PM
• 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Call Requirements

• Approximately 120 call hours per contract (shared with staff)
• Weekend and weeknight call required
• Holiday call based on contract dates (July 4th coverage preferred)
• 30-minute response time

Support & Systems

• EMR: Epic
• 2 OR Techs per shift
• Charge RN and House Supervisor available

Floating

Rare floating only for critical staffing needs within Zone 1 :

• PEN
• SFH
• SFI
• SMC
• STM

Orientation & Dress Code

• Department-specific orientation provided
• Hospital-provided OR scrubs
