Business Support & Planning Manager

Job DescriptionYamaha is seeking to fill a Business Support & Planning Manager II for our facility in Kennesaw, GA. The Business Support & Planning Manager II is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring operational and strategic financial and business plans that support the organization's growth objectives. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to analyze costs, identify opportunities for improvement, develop financial and operational forecasts, and drive strategic initiatives.The Business Support & Planning Manager II provides data-driven insights to senior leadership to support informed decision-making and ensure alignment with company goals. What you’ll be doing: Develop, prepare, and manage annual budgeting, forecasts, and business and financial plans across departments and Business Units.Responsible for development and preparation of all monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements for DCU with a deep understanding of cost drivers.Analyze business performance, market trends, customer insights, and competitive activities to identify growth opportunities.Prepare financial models, business cases, and investment analyses to support strategic initiatives.Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend process improvements to enhance business performance.Work closely with Finance, Operations, and other business units to align strategic objectives.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular performance reports to senior management.Develop executive presentations and reports for leadership meetings.What you need to be successful: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.Master's degree (MBA) is preferred.6–9 years of experience in business planning, corporate strategy, financial planning, consulting, or a related field.4-6 years experience in a managerial or supervisory role.Experience managing cross-functional projects and strategies.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.Ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data.Project/Change management and leadership capabilities.Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and trade compliance software.Don’t meet every single requirement?
