Parts Driver - Part Time

Parts DriverGlendale Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram is seeking a part time Parts Driver to add to our team for our high volume & high loyalty parts department for immediate hire. We are a full service FCA franchised (Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, Ram) dealership, selling and servicing Cars, Trucks & SUV's for 50+ years. You will be working with one of the most experienced parts managers in the business, with over 35 years’ experience. Our service business is growing rapidly and the opportunities for personal growth at our organization could never be better.Responsibilities:Picks up and delivers parts to customers, neighboring dealerships, wholesale accounts, and vendorsAssist all customers and vendors in a friendly, professional, and efficient mannerChecks with the parts manager and parts counter people before leaving to coordinate any last-minute pick-ups or deliveriesPulls and fills orders from stock, as neededEnsure that parts to be delivered matches invoice, verify that invoice matches purchase order for each pick-upSecure and unload parts van each nightMaintain a prompt, efficient and timely flow of paperwork and delivery scheduleExperience with automotive parts or military equivalent experience is a plus but not requiredThe following qualifications are essential:Superior communication and customer service skillsAbility to maintain the physical capability of lifting up to 50 poundsProfessional attitude and appearance.Valid Driver’s LicenseOnce a conditional offer of employment is issued, must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and pass driving record insurability standards (MVR)The Parts Driver position is a part time Union position.
