LPN / LVN - General

LPN Medical SurgicalThe LPN will be responsible for providing patient care in a medical surgical setting. The candidate will manage vital signs, perform pain assessments, and monitor intake/output. Experience with isolation precautions, physical restraints, and specimen labeling is essential. Ability to administer oxygen via nasal cannula and manage feeding tubes is required. Telemetry monitoring and administering medications via various routes must be demonstrated. Experience with wound care basics, including simple dressings and drains, is necessary. Communication of status changes to the RN or medical doctor is critical. The unit will care for medical patients with a variety of diagnoses. Floating to different units within skill set will be required. Weekend and holiday availability is necessary.
