Position Summary


We are seeking an experienced MIG Welder to join our production team. This position is responsible for welding and assembling hollow metal doors and frames in our weld shop. The ideal candidate will have previous MIG welding experience, be able to read measurements accurately, and maintain quality workmanship in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on hollow metal doors and frames.
• Fabricate, assemble, and weld metal components according to specifications.
• Read and interpret shop drawings, work orders, and measurements.
• Inspect welded assemblies to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Operate welding equipment and related fabrication tools safely and efficiently.
• Grind, clean, and finish welded products as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
• Work collaboratively with shop personnel to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

• Previous MIG welding experience required .
• Experience welding hollow metal doors and frames preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read a tape measure and work with precise dimensions.
• Knowledge of welding equipment setup and maintenance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements

• Standing, bending, lifting, and moving materials throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing/weld shop environment.
• Must be able to safely operate welding and fabrication equipment.
