Position Overview

Are you eager to make a positive impact? As an integral part of our team, you will carry out a range of imaging procedures, such as CT scans and X-Rays, at a level that allows for both independence and expertise. Your contributions are vital in ensuring our patients receive the highest standard of care!

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver technical support and compassionate patient care tailored to individual needs.
• Operate and maintain all imaging department machinery, including X-Ray, CT, CR reader, and PACS.
• Conduct imaging examinations following established protocols and inform the physician of findings.
• Perform basic clinical tasks under the supervision of the attending physician or nurse.
• Keep precise documentation, logs, charts, and records in both physical and digital formats.
• Collect lab samples and conduct testing in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Ensure a sufficient supply of reagents and consumables for effective testing.
• Carry out routine maintenance and functionality checks on all imaging equipment.
• Execute Quality Control and Proficiency Testing as per facility guidelines.
• Maintain records of all analytical activities for a minimum of two years.
• Document all Quality Assessment activities for regular review.

Additional Responsibilities

• Provide assistance as an ER Technician when necessary.
• Travel to various facility locations as needed.
• Participate in staff meetings and other organizational events.
• Take on additional tasks as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Graduation from an AMA-accredited Radiology Technology program is mandatory.
• An Associate’s Degree in Radiology is preferred.
• State certification as a medical radiologic technologist is required.
• Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography is essential.
• CT certification is preferred within 12 months of hire (specific to the Pennsylvania market).
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• At least 2 years of experience in radiologic/imaging is preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of CT experience is preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in an emergency room setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with X-ray/CT equipment and PACS is necessary.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
• For Pennsylvania Candidates: Act 33 and Act 73 clearances must be completed within the last 5 years or obtained prior to the start date.
