About the Role: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to work closely with our therapy team to provide high-quality rehabilitation services to our residents. As a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) at Aspire Senior Living Malden, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, from short-term rehabilitation to long-term care. Your expertise will help our residents regain strength, mobility, and independence, enabling them to resume their daily activities with confidence. Responsibilities:
- Assist physical therapists in the development and implementation of individualized rehabilitation plans
- Conduct physical therapy treatments, including exercises, stretches, and activities designed to improve strength, flexibility, and mobility
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the physical therapist
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and healthcare team members
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to providing patient-centered care
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in the state of Missouri
- N-relative experience working in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting
