Apply here: Essential Functions Process deposits, withdrawals, cashing checks, buy and sell cash, change orders, cash advances, loan payments, cashier's checks, GL credit/debit, advice of credit/debits, Canadian exchanges, telephone transfers, print statements and cash savings bonds. Complete fraud and non‑fraud debit card disputes and ATM disputes. Use Haberfeld brochure to select the appropriate account type for customers. Operate and clean branch capture machine, currency counter, coin counter, MICR printer, teller cash dispenser, and teller cash recycler (if applicable). Use and find information in Silverlake, Vertex, NetTeller, and Passport. Know where all logs can be found in the branch and what each log is used for. Understand regulations: D, DD, E, CC, OFAC, Privacy, CIP, and BSA. Know personal and business account types, online banking, bill pay, and mobile check deposit. Perform proper procedure for safe deposit box access. Greet customers promptly and demonstrate appropriate conversation while helping customers over the phone and in person. Demonstrate proper cash handling skills; keep cash drawer and teller work neat and organized. Maintain cash drawer limits. Follow clean desk policy, customer confidentiality, and lock workstation. Apply dual control when necessary. Handle dormant/escheat accounts properly. ID and verify customers. Read account and customer alert messages and understand importance of doing so. Additional Responsibilities Embrace service pledge and provide extraordinary and consistent service to all internal and external customers; listen and ask about customer needs. Participate in required training, staff meetings, and lobby displays. Participate in community service and bank-sponsored activities that support Glacier Bank’s mission and values. Provide superior internal and external customer service with courtesy and respect towards all customers. Complete required bank training courses within assigned timeframe. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations. Represent Glacier Bank professionally, maintain positive attitude, flexibility, and adaptability. Maintain tidy work area and customer privacy. Maintain regular and reliable attendance. Other duties as requested or assigned. About You Required Qualifications High degree of attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Ability to prioritize, organize workload, and demonstrate effective time management. Professional courtesy, customer service, and tact in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure; make decisions based on regulations, company policy, knowledge, and experience. Work both independently and in a team environment. Understand and follow complex written and oral instructions. Effective verbal and written communication. Basic computer skills with word processing, spreadsheets, ten‑key, and general computer applications. Working knowledge of standard office equipment. High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications A moderate level of banking knowledge. Work Environment Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in a climate‑controlled shared work area with moderate noise. Occasional travel (less than 10 days per year) by automobile, airline, rental vehicle, or public transportation may be required. Physical Demands Sit, use hands in repetitive motions, talk or hear; occasionally stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds; some crawling, pushing, and pulling required. Routine operation of computer terminals, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators.
