Compensation: $29/hour + Uncapped Commission

Overview

We are seeking an Associate Growth Merchant Lead to join a high-performing Outside Sales team focused on expanding partnerships in emerging and underserved markets. This field-based sales role is responsible for acquiring new restaurant partners, driving market growth, and building relationships with local business owners throughout assigned territories.

The ideal candidate is a motivated sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys face-to-face selling, and has experience working with small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), particularly within the restaurant, food, or beverage industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospect, engage, and close new restaurant partnerships within assigned territories.
• Travel to emerging markets and rural areas to identify growth opportunities and expand market presence.
• Conduct in-person sales meetings with restaurant owners and decision-makers.
• Present partnership solutions and negotiate business agreements.
• Manage a high-volume, transactional sales cycle with the ability to close deals quickly.
• Collaborate closely with regional sales leadership and leverage sales tools and resources to maximize results.
• Consistently achieve and exceed new business acquisition goals.

Travel Requirements

• Travel is required for approximately 50% or more of the role.
• Most travel will be within a two-hour radius of the hiring location.
• Occasional overnight stays and longer travel days may be required.
• All approved travel expenses will be reimbursed.

Compensation

• Base Pay: $29/hour
• Uncapped commission structure for every new merchant partnership secured.
• Average On-Target Earnings (OTE) from commissions are approximately $1,900 per month, with the opportunity to earn significantly more based on performance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of successful sales experience, preferably in a closing role.
• Experience selling to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) strongly preferred.
• Restaurant, hospitality, food service, or beverage industry sales experience is highly desirable.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing a territory and travel schedule.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for business development and growth.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly.
