This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of civil litigation matters while developing expertise in insurance defense law.Key Responsibilities-Manage comprehensive case files, including conducting legal research, discovery, and factual investigations-Review and analyze medical records and detailed medical chronologies-Draft legal documents including memoranda, pleadings, motions, briefs, and case progress reports-Represent clients at depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials-Maintain accurate and contemporaneous time records for all billable activities in accordance with firm policies and client requirements-Meet established billable hour targets while ensuring quality and efficiency in all work product-Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel-Collaborate with team members and support staff to ensure optimal case outcomes-Stay current on relevant legal developments and industry trendsQualifications-3+ years of civil litigation experience-Strong organizational and time management skills-Excellent oral and written communication abilities-Proficiency with legal research tools and case management software-A robust work ethic and commitment to excellencePreferred Qualifications-Experience in insurance defense litigation-Trial experience -Familiarity with motor vehicle and premises liability matters Benefits· Competitive salary commensurate with experience and bonus · Comprehensive benefits package including health, life, and disability insurance· 401(k) retirement plan with generous company match· Opportunities for structured bonuses based on performance· Professional development and continuing legal education support· A personal and engaging work culture where we value relationships and aim to be your colleagues, motivators, and mentors
