Data Entry Specialist

Endeavors is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to support its Disaster Case Management (DCM) program in Port Richey, Florida. The role focuses on maintaining accurate program data, supporting case management teams, and ensuring timely reporting and compliance with contract requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for data entry, reconciliation, reporting, and database management while helping improve data accuracy and program performance. This position requires strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with case managers, supervisors, and program leadership. Key Responsibilities Enter, update, correct, and maintain case and outcome data within the DCM database. Perform regular reconciliation between database records, physical files, and case management documentation. Review data quality and ensure electronic case files are complete and accurate. Prepare, format, and submit reports for program managers, funders, and contract monitoring teams. Track key performance indicators and support performance reporting activities. Create reports using Microsoft Excel, Access, and other reporting tools. Provide administrative support including filing, scanning, organizing records, and documentation management. Collaborate with case managers and supervisors to resolve data discrepancies and improve data collection processes. Recommend improvements to enhance data accuracy, reporting efficiency, and overall workflow. Requirements Minimum 1 year of data entry experience. High School Diploma required. Experience in nonprofit, human services, or disaster recovery environments is preferred. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and dashboards. Experience working with databases and reporting systems. Ability to maintain accurate records and meet reporting deadlines. Must type a minimum of 65 words per minute. Valid Driver’s License with a clear driving record. Must have daily access to a vehicle. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when required by program needs. Must successfully pass required background checks. Strong knowledge of: Data entry, database management, and data reconciliation. Microsoft Excel reporting, formulas, pivot tables, and dashboards.
