Employment Type: Travel/Contract

Certifications: ACLS & BLS required

Experience: 1 year minimum in ICU or LTAC

Hourly Pay Rate: $53.60

What You'll Do

• Provide specialized care to ICU patients in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) setting
• Monitor patient status and vital signs, respond to changes, and administer medications and treatments such as TPN, wound care, drains, Foley, and narcotics
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
• Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (Epic experience preferred)
• Support patient and family education and comfort measures
• Assist with emergency responses and be adaptable to unit needs and assignments

What You Need

• Valid RN license in Louisiana or the ability to obtain one promptly
• Minimum of 1 year of ICU or LTAC experience
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Experience with specialty procedures such as TPN, wound care, drains, Foley, and narcotics administration
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Epic electronic health record experience preferred
