Experiences could include:Direct interaction and communication with suppliersAnnual spend analysisSupplier engagement and site visitsSupplier risk analysisSupporting strategic sourcing plansCost reduction initiativesNegotiationReplenishment strategiesSAP and E-commerce utilizationStrategic new product developmentCountry of origin determinationTariff data collection and reviewManufacturing plant and branch site visitsFacilitate problem solving meetingsEnd of term report out to Supply Chain leadership***Multiple positions are open for purchased materials planning, direct and indirect sourcing, new product development sourcing, trade compliance, logistics and data analytics. Crown will place students in an assignment that best fits the company’s needs and students’ interests, skills, and prior experiences.Job Qualifications:This position requires the candidate to be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in one of these areas: Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, Operations, MIS, Finance, General Business Marketing, or Pre-Corporate Law.Good analytical and communication skills required.Work Authorization:Crown will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
